The 20th most populous #state with 5,896,000 residents, and 25th largest by land area, Wisconsin is a rather evenly populated state, especially when you compare it to its neighbors of #Michigan, #Minnesota, and #Illinois, states where the majority of residents live in and around one urban area. The biggest city in Wisconsin is #Milwaukee, with about 600k residents, and 1.5m in the surrounding #metro, only accounting for 1/4 of the state’s pop
