Belgium's Tomorrowland, one of the world's largest electronic music festivals, opened its doors as planned on Friday, after the event was thrown into doubt by a fire that destroyed its main stage, reports AFP. Organisers said an "alternative setup" was put in place to replace the "beloved main stage" that went up in flames on Wednesday.
The Belgian Fire, a 5-acre wildland fire which claimed two structures and saw many evacuate their homes, has been extinguished and 100 percent contained.
A fire burning in Brinnon, Jefferson County, has been reduced from a Level 3 “go now” evacuation order to a Level 1 “be ready” evacuation order.
