Uber plans to make “multi-hundred-million dollar investments” in both Nuro and Lucid as part of a massive new robotaxi deal that was just announced.

Uber announced a new partnership today with luxury electric vehicle maker Lucid and the robotics company Nuro.

“Autonomous vehicles have enormous potential to transform our cities for the better,” said Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber’s chief executive.
