Protesters clashed with police outside the hotel in Essex last week, after a man living there was charged with sexual assault.

The Home Office has rubbished rumours that a luxury hotel in Canary Wharf is being used to house asylum seekers from a hotel in Epping, Essex which was targeted by violent protesters earlier this month, reports MyLondon.

In the social media post, Clacton MP Nigel Farage accused Essex Police of causing the disturbances and called the alleged actions "disgraceful".
