When are the real Texas Rangers going to show up? That's been the question asked by the baseball world throughout the season as everyone shockingly watched one of the most loaded lineups on paper struggle to produce runs.

The Texas Rangers scored eleven runs while the Anaheim Angels scored four runs. I am just about tapped out on west coast games after a full week of ‘em. Jorge Soler hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth inning, Mike Trout went deep twice and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Texas Rangers 11-8.

Texas has gone 19-29 on the road and 45-48 overall. The Rangers have a 15-35 record in games when they have allowed at least one home run.

On the bright side, the Rangers did score eight runs which has sometimes been a whole week’s worth of runs for this year’s club. Player of the Game: Marcus Semien drove in four runs and hit the two-run home run in the seventh that looked like it would propel the Rangers to victory before the bullpen collapsed.

The right-hander is rocked for eight runs and eight hits in 2⅔ innings in an 11-4 defeat. His ERA (6.03) is the highest among American League pitchers who have thrown at least 90 innings.
