As inflation and tariffs affect business owners and Las Vegas tourism dwindles, a Las Vegas culinary union leader argues that a ''Trump slump'' is alienating Hispanic voters.

The simplest explanation for any American election result has remained consistent for decades: “It’s the economy, stupid.”

The Fox News poll, released Wednesday, found that 38 percent approve while 61 percent disapprove of Trump’s economic policies. Overall, 76 percent of respondents had a negative view of the state of the U.S. economy. In July, that number was at 67 percent, a previous Fox News poll found.
