A broad area of disturbed weather off the Southeast U.S. coast is drawing attention this week as it drifts westward toward the Gulf. While the system has a low chance of tropical development, it is expected to pull in deep tropical moisture,

The area of low pressure located off the east coast of Florida is now Invest 93-L, according to the National Hurricane Center. The disturbance is forecast to move westward across Florida during the next day or so, and into the northeastern Gulf by late Tuesday.
