But the true talent belonged to his mother, Nakisha, who was inducted into the Thiel College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017 after a decorated career as a hurdler — winning multiple Presidents’ Athletic Conference titles. “I kind of have that in my genes,” Peoples said.
