TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Sara has dissipated heading into the Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center said. The remnants of Sara are located 90 miles southwest of Campeche, Mexico. Additional rainfall is expected over northern Honduras, with storm total amounts locally as high as 40 inches of rainfall, according to the NHC.

Showers and storms are still expected for portions of the northern Gulf coast heading into Tuesday, thanks in-part to the remnants of Sara.
