But supporters were left frustrated on Friday after Dariush came in 1.2 pounds over the non-title fight lightweight limit of 156 pounds.

The headline attraction for the event will feature a UFC welterweight championship matchup between Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev. The co-main event will see the UFC women’s strawweight championship on the line as Valentina Shevchenko defends against Weili Zhang.
