The Michigan women remained at No. 6 in the AP poll. They played one game since the last poll, winning Wednesday at Detroit Mercy 102-53. The Wolverines host Central Michigan on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET, B1G+) and open Big Ten play at home against Purdue on Sunday (noon, BTN).

The Week Five AP and USA Today Coaches’ polls were released earlier this week and six Big Ten teams were fortunate enough to make the cut at least in one of the polls. Purdue and Michigan led the way in both polls, with the two teams going first and second in the Coaches’ Poll. Michigan State was also firmly in the top 10.
