Xbox dev mode accounts mistakenly being disabled have caused a stir with users. Xbox is looking to fix the issue.

Go to the [Xbox Developer Mode Signup Page] and register for a developer account. Download the Developer Mode activation app from the Microsoft Store on your Xbox.
