They say a picture is worth a thousand words and a photograph of a shark taken by two teenagers in Massachusetts last weekend certainly tells a story.  This photo taken off Woods Hole on Cape Cod on July 4th shows a great white shark just feet away from Margaret Bowles on a paddleboard - and she didn't know it.

A great white shark shocked two Massachusetts paddleboarders as it swam just feet away from the two friends enjoying their Fourth of July evening on the water. College students Margaret Bowles and Maddie Cronin were paddling in the waters off Woods Hole on the southwest end of Cape Cod when they saw the predator’s estimated 8-inch fin.

Teenage paddleboarders enjoying the waters in Cape Cod on the Fourth of July had an unexpected — and unwanted — visit from a great white shark. Margaret Bowles told CBS News that she had been paddleboarding with her bestfriend Madeleine Cronin for a few hours near Stony Beach when the terrifying experience occurred.
