A Philadelphia teacher waited almost 90 minutes for a bus and was more than an hour late to work. A single mother who takes two buses to get to work at a cleaning company in Conshohocken tried to control her anxiety as she waited at the Wissahickon Transportation Center.

SEPTA riders are navigating challenges that include longer wait times and are spending more money on extra buses or trains during the first week of cuts.
