Memphis Grizzlies rookie and former Tennessee Vol Jahmai Mashack showed out in his second summer league game.

The Memphis Grizzles earned perhaps a few new Tennessee Vol fans last month when the team selected Jahmai Mashack with the 59th overall and last pick of the 2026 NBA Draft. Tennessee fans know exactly what the Grizzles were getting when they took Mashack: a high level of effort and intensity as well as elite defense.

Memphis is replacing two of the NBA's best 3-point shooters in Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard. Spencer, who was a noted 3-point shooter coming out of college in 2024, is looking like a player ready to help fill that void.
