England are being strongly encouraged to bring Jofra Archer back into the Test arena for the pivotal third match against India at Lord’s on Thursday, as the five-match ICC World Test Championship series hangs in the balance at 1-1.

Archer is likely to replace Chris Woakes in the Playing XI, and it would not be a surprise if the hosts opt for an all-pace attack at Lord's, where the pitch looks as green as it gets.

Though India eventually lost the match by 158 runs, the courage and grit shown at Lord’s clearly conveyed to the world that the Indians, in little time, would carve out a niche in the world of cricket.
