A 9-year-old child has died after an incident at The Boardwalk water park at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday.

An eyewitness described extremely crowded conditions at the Boardwalk at Hersheypark Thursday and saw the emergency response.

The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was pulled “limp” from the water on Thursday, and later died at a hospital despite lifeguards attempts to save her, according to
