While he can’t yet go into detail, Danny Parkins is optimistic about his future at FS1. Breakfast Ball, which Parkins co-hosted with Mark Schlereth and Craig Carton, was one of three FS1 shows recently canceled.

According to reports, the longtime ESPN host would be open to a new gig at FS1 after that network canceled Speak, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility, and is line for a reshuffling of programs.

Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy appeared regularly on two of those cancelled shows and he had a comical reaction to losing those gigs.

“Van Talk” ended abruptly due in part to previous comments made by Katz and Barstool founder Dave Portnoy about then-ESPNer Sam Ponder, and former-ESPN president John Skipper later said that the network wasn’t able to distance itself from the Barstool brand as much as it wanted.

A source confirmed The Athletic's report that the show will be canceled along with "Speak" and "The Facility." But the source also said that Parkins is expected to remain with the network. Fox Sports declined to comment.

Joy Taylor, Craig Carton, Keyshawn Johnson, and Paul Pierce were all stars on FS1 shows that have been canceled.

FS1 is reportedly cutting Speak, Breakfast Ball and The Facility from its daytime programming, according to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand. Acho co-hosted The Facility alongside fellow former NFL players Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy; the show was brought to air less than a year ago.

The list of on-air names reportedly let go at FS1 includes Joy Taylor and LeSean McCoy after news broke on Monday of the network canceling three of its shows: Speak , Breakfast Ball and The Facility. That list apparently included Emmanuel Acho, the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker. The source? Acho himself.

Kyle Larson and his High Limit Racing series starred on FS1 with a joint broadcast with FloRacing. Larson ended up winning the Eldora race and picked up a $100,000 check in the process.

The cancellations happened because, per Marchand, the shows “struggled to find a huge audience.” The rest of the weekday lineup — featuring The Herd and First Things First — will remain. FS1 is expected to develop three new shows to replace the three that were canceled.
