After one of the best weeks of his career, Dallas Stars forward Mason Marchment earned some well-deserved recognition from the NHL. The league announced Monday afternoon that Marchment had earned the honor of its second star of the week alongside Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid (first star) and Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy (third star).

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid has been named the NHL’s first star of the week after he became the fourth-fastest and fourth-youngest player to hit the 1,000-point mark in his career.
