More than 450 personnel are fighting the Deer Creek Fire that has burnt nearly 15,655 acres and remains at 7% containment, according to the latest information from the Department of Utah Forestry, Fire and State Lands.

At just over 12,900 acres, the fire is bigger than all the other western slope fires combined and is one of several fires that prompted Colorado Gov. Jared Polis to issue a disaster declaration on Sunday.
