Charli XCX is going all out for her Sicilian wedding later this year, but she kept her first wedding to The 1975 drummer George Daniel far more Brat.

Venice Critics’ Week, the sidebar section of the Venice Film Festival, unveiled its lineup on Monday, revealing the opening and closing films as well as the seven-title competition. The section runs Aug. 27-Sept. 6.

While the marriage came as a surprise to some fans, most of them were enthusiastic. “Charli [‘s] marriage is not on my 2025 bingo card, but, congrats mother,” one TikTok commenter wrote. “This is the single most important thing since we discovered fire,” another lauded, while a third called it “the only royal wedding I care about.”
