A 9-year-old girl who was reported abducted Saturday evening in Upstate New York has been found dead with “no indication” of having been abducted, troopers said.

Television station WNYT in Albany is reporting that 9-year old Melina Galanis Frattolin, the object of an Amber Alert issued this morning, has been found dead.

Authorities had issued an amber alert citing her “imminent danger” of being harmed or killed earlier Sunday.
